Structure of jmuffin
|
|
|
For the better understanding of how websites in jmuffin are structured, first a few explanations:
Website: as website we understand a collection of pages which are published under your domain name.
Homepage: the homepage is the page which is displayed first after a domain name is opened in a browser.
Webpage: a webpage is a single page on your website.
Layout (Frameworks): a layout ie framework defines how a page looks in general.
Flags: a layout can contain multiple flags. A flag can be placed anywhere in the layout and later modules will be assigned with a flag.
Content modules:
Content modules will be attached to flags. You can attach multiple modules to one flag and a module to multiple flags.
A content modul is used to publish content like text or images on a page, the content is bound to a single page.
Custom Module: With custom modules you can create applications or code that is not bound to a page. Custom modules are used for the prebuilt menu, search or sitemap. Own applications you would create using a custom module.
